Okay, I've finally went through all my pictures of Dave and have narrowed it down to these..thanks for all the help! I'd never make a choice if it wasn't for everyone's help!

I never did get any good ones of him on his walk oh well. I guess thats better, less pictures to vote on haha!

Number four of Dave wins! Thanks for helping me out everyone, I never would've decided if it wasn't for you all. I'll go submit those pictures and cross my fingers.

Dave went on a walk yesterday evening, about a block and a half. So many people stopped me to take pictures it was crazy! People slowed down in their cars and their faces were priceless, some even turned around to drive by again. I couldn't stop laughing. There was a couple on the other side of the street going the same way as me with a beagle so I picked up davie just incase it got away from them (It was trying hard too) and they kept looking over at me and frowning and whispering, The lady goes "That sure is a weird dog!" and the man says "Look at it's long neck!" and so I'm like all right this is fun..and let Dave do his flying in my hands trick and the ladies face was so scared looking! She screamed and they took of running! I don't think i've ever laughed so hard! They were generally scared of a duck!

Dave was a slow walker, taking a few steps and stopping and looking around so I just kinda stood there while he walked ahead of me, since he was stopping so much I only took a step everynow and then, anyways he could see our house I guess because I'm looking at the road to make sure no cars are coming and I look up just in time to see Dave take off flying, but the leash was too short for him to go more than two feet and all you see is his little body jump up wings spread then a little jerk as the leash ends! I was like oh my gosh Dave! I thought for sure he was hurt but nope, he just yanked on the lead and off he went again, I was prepared this time though so the walk back was fast as he ran down the street flapping his wings. I love him so much, he's so funny.

The chickens are much better today, no limp at all which makes me so happy! I was worried there for a while, always thinking the worse. Their feet are still a bit swollen but it's not making them limp so thats all I can ask for.

Your Dave story really made me laugh. What I have to say is that these people are weird. Not you walking your cute duck but the people commenting loudly about him. And the lady screaming is awesome. Dave is a harmless bird and that is what is so strange about some of the gawkers you've encountered.

But I can tell you are getting a kick out of this so keep doing it and reporting back to us.

Your walking Dave though and everyone's reaction makes me think of the time we had to take out goat[yes goat] to the vets so we put her and her new born baby in the back seat of a volkswagon and take off down the highway talk about stares here is this goat looking out the window just like a dog. That was fun. Love the pics you submitted.

Loved the story of Dave on his leash. He is enjoying hisself and showing off for everyone. Spread the word ducks make great pets. Please keep us updated on his travels.

Patti I was the same way about picture number 4. I loved the action in it but I just love Dave's little face and the expressions he has.

Two goats in the back of a VW. That is halarious. I can just imagine the stares you got that day.
