I love coming here to read about the shenanigans that all of your fine feathered friends get into and cause. LOL...I simply can't imagine anyone being afraid of a duck. The mental image that brings up is definitely amusing! Love all the pics, GarnerZoo!! I think we're due for an Opie pic.

So there's currently a random neighbor hood cat laying with the ducks..i came out because I heard Dave going on and on and I see this black and white cat getting a drink from the pool. Then it lays down with the ducks! It got up and is now laying on the fence

And it's back for a drink. They're all gathered around the pool drinking or in it playing.

Well, that is nerve wracking!! Wouldn't cats usually be considered predators of ducks or are ducks too big?

The ducks were bigger. But not by much! And it's not the first cat to hang with the ducks either! Our neighbors across the street own a black one with a bobbed tail and it's always in our yard. You would think the cats would want them, they're birds! But nope it fell asleep with them! I sat the whole time close by just in case

Good GarnerZoo. Keep your eye on them. I wouldn't trust any outside animal with precious Dave. At least everything is friendly and you're supervising.

I went out to feed everyone this morning. I look at all the smiling faces and I notice that Que Sera is not with her little flock out back. I go to the side yard and yell her name and there she is with Topper. Could Topper being training her on how to be a princess? I hope she hasn't influenced her on her eatting manners. She quickly leaves Topper on the other side and joins her flock to enjoy their plate of boiled eggs. I don't want Que Sera hanging with the wrong crowd and Toppers crowd is bad news. I must have a little talk with Que Sera soon. Darn it I am out of smiley faces I think I voted to many times on the chicken calendar site. So just imagine a little smiley face after the soon.

Yesterday I tried my hand at embossing a picture. I got the pattern and traced it on a medal cookie sheet. While painting it I wondered why my indentions weren't sticking out like the one in the instructions. Oh well I finished the picture and when the paint dried I turned it over to put the hanger on the back. I look at the back of my picture and there are all the details sticking out really pretty. Did the instructions say after embossing turn the picture over and paint the other side? No they didn't.

(oh good my smiley faces come back) Anyway it's a picture of a fish and I had already glued the 3 D fins and tails down so it was to late to paint the other side. I am hanging that picture in the bathroom wrong side or not. I'm going to try this embossing thing again and make sure I turn the picture over to paint the other side. DUH

Now I am curious Patty I'd like to see the embossing. Que Sera is making the rounds and you know as a princess she has to be through out the realm looking over her subjects.
