My babies are 14 weeks old today. Hard to believe.

Donald is the bigger (non-crested) Pekin.

He really is a sweet boy! I'm dreading when the hormones kick in. Maybe I'll get lucky and he'll be relatively chill with his 3 girls.

Oh I know, Wobbles was such a sweet little mama's boy until he hit his first season. Then he turned into a royal jerk! He's still sweet with me now that the season's over, but he'll attack pretty much anyone or anything else. Like boxes, soda cans, my wedding dress....you figure THAT one out...

At least I'm (kind of) mentally prepared. Can you imagine if someone didn't know what kind of behavior could start up with their drake and then BAM, he's off!? Okay, I can't help but giggle...he just randomly attacks those things you listed? I guess he's anti-formal wear? Maybe he's starting a movement.

I gave him some frozen today, that's what we give them all before bed. And when it's not too hot they, Chickens included, get cracked corn.

awww aren't they cute. Donald is not so little. He looks huge and very handsome.
