Bad news with dewormer

Levamisole is a very good wormer, I use it.
Rotating areas where birds forage is best as well as keeping grass cut short. Birds kept in pens or on the same soil are susceptible to frequent worm infections. Sand in the pens helps as well as scooping poop helps deter worm infections.

I thought I did research on a reliable source and found Levamisole as a good deworner. But after more research I found this was not allowed either for chickens. I changed my post. It seems only Flubenol is allowed.
Waiting time is only 1 day for slaughter cattle, and no waiting time for eggs.

Some people use paste form for horses, though dosage is different.

I dont see a good way to give a worm medicine that cant be put in water though. Horse you inject into their mouth and dog you put in a good snack... how do you feed it to a chicken?

There is a good way and it costs about 300 dollars a bottle.

If you've had worm issues in the past you need to deform regularly.

Realistically, you would have a fecal float done to check for presence of worms. I don't worm mine unless I feel there is reason to.

I wish we had Flubendazole here in the states. It's a very good wormer, a benzimidazole.
