Thanks. I was really asking if she would potentially hold it to the point of a health issue since she has never had a broody poop in the flight cage--she always waits to be let out. Then she poops, grabs something for the nest and heads back in. If we are away for a few days they don't get let out, and that's what we were worried about. I think @biophiliac answered the question ("If she has to, she will poop in her cage somewhere away from the nest I believe.").When mine are on the nest they tend to just hang their back end over the edge of the nest bowl and dump. It can get a bit smelly as I don't like to move them when they're on eggs. But if your not hatching any just clean it out daily.
