I have poured over pictures on google and I am still not convinced. I’m thinking maybe hen, but admit to not being good at it when they are younger. My only experience with Cochins is frizzles and their feathers look totally different.

Thanks guys, I was fairly sure, but I already had two “sexed” chickens turn out to be roosters this year and was afraid I had 3. I began to doubt mah skills, LOL. She is a sweetie. She was a failure to thrive and I kept her in my shirt that first day and night, feeding her by hand before she was strong enough to move to the brooder.

Her and my younger RIR are BFF’s they hang all day and sleep like this until I put them on the roost:

Luckily the last two nights they’ve finally begun sitting on the roost, but aren’t they cute? The RIR, Henny Penny stands with her legs wide, Miracle scoots underneath and sits and HP crouches above her and they fall asleep
