Random post, but I’m curious. I have a bunch of different breeds…all the chicks are “peep peep”ers when they’re young and before they get their “bok bok”. Two of my two month old chicks are BCM and BCM/Cream Legbar. The other chicks of the same age are “peep peep”. These two are like “honk honk”. They almost have a lower voice and no peep (this low voice thing started maybe a month ago).
They are pullets, not sick…just talk differently than any other breed. Is this a thing with the BCM and crosses?
