Hi there! I’m from a small town in rural Ontario, but I’m making a trip to the USA in a couple weeks on a vacation.

Whenever I have a mild chicken emergency or illness in my flock, I post it here and get lots of replies, thankfully! Unfortunately, the majority of treatments I’m told about are medications that are easily picked up in a local American feed store, but I can’t access them here in Canada. On my trip I’d like to stock up on some basics that could come in handy for common illnesses that I may experience in my flock.

Please let me know your go-to feed store meds that I should have on hand just in case!

Thanks!

Corrid liquid, Tylan50 are 2 that come to mind, blu cote, vet rx, vetricin,
Thank you!
I had Tylan50 prescribed to one of my roosters last year by my vet and it cost me an arm and a leg just for the appointment so that’s definitely one that will be nice to have.

These vitamins and probiotics can be found at Tractor Supply as well as liquid Corid.
