bird asleep in coop, might have gotten too cold

I don't know if I have the heart for that...
However, I did feel his crop and it was full and liquidy. I don't know for sure if it was this way before he passed, but I am inclined to believe so.
I think diatomaceous earth can help (very small amounts around the run) with killing of bugs and worms ect

So sorry for your loss. I know nothing about chicken parasites, but that looks like nothing that is coming up in my searches. You might want to make a new post with the pictures to see if anyone can help you id the worm.

I'm so sorry you lost your rooster. I agree with others it doesn't look parasitic, but I would deworm the entire flock again with a different dewormer to be safe. Different dewormers affect different parasites and worms. Better to be safe than sorry, and it won't hurt them to be treated again.

I agree. But still confused as to how a normal worm would've killed him does look like a weird worm though

I’ll make a new post about the worm, and another about just trying to figure out what did him in. Thank you all for the condolences, I’ll keep y’all updated on any solutions I find
