But they call it chocolate gravy. It is really a big thing in the south. I am only a transplanted southerner, and love chocolate, but have never got on the chocolate gravy train.

Nope not chocolate gravy. I hav had chocolate gravy and I am not a fan. We use just plain old chocolate pudding-like you would make for a pie. He considers it a dessert-not a meal. And Chocolate gravy is usually served with biscuits. First time I ever had it was in Tennessee and I don't of any place here that sells it. I am in Missouri and we are not usually considered 'South'

I just noticed the cornbread and pudding, oh my, I assumed you were talking about biscuits. I am in OK and most restaurants don't sell it here either, but almost everyone eats it. (at least of the older set)
