Biscuits or Cornbread?

I used to love cornbread (the non sugary kind) more than biscuits, NOW it's biscuits and maybe cornbread once in a while.

The ONLY reason I can think of...as to WHY I've been in a GOOD MOOD is...:

My Cardiologist's Office sent me a NOTE saying I should come in for a "check-up"...and I've totally ignored that suggestion.
(I don't like my Cardiologist! I think she just wants a date.....and she is "BOSSY" !!! )

I'm doing fine here at home fighting with my Boxer dog (and always losing! ) He thinks it is FUN to "kick my 'patoot' " !!!

Heart is beating... I checked a few hours ago and I heard some faint thumping.... So...I reckon there ain't MUCH reason to go to the Cardiologist and thereby run-up my Blood Pressure !!! (always irritates me to go there!)

Besides...IF the Heart QUITS...the Boxer dog will jump up and down on me and get it going again.

NO PROBLEM. I guess that's WHY I've been in such a GOOD MOOD. It's FUN to ignore a "know-it-all" Doctor!

Junkmanme will not be on the computer for a while....He is under "house-arrest" at the Hospital for assaulting Medical Personnel on an ambulance call and making libelous remarks about a Cardiologist.

If he heals up...he MIGHT get to go home......unless his "Psychological Profile" indicates otherwise.

Hhmmph...Ya know...If'n I was ta quit smokin' and drinkin' and fun stuff sech as 'at.....I'd shorely not live long enuf ta enjoy any more cornbread....besides which....my cook, Hop-Sing, wouldn't have nobody to steal tobacco and whisky from. It would jest be awful hard on him.

I couldn't eat all my leftover cornbread today so I shared it with the hen that is spending a couple days in the house.

oldchickenlady, I love purple hull peas too, pot liquor and the tomatoe with cornbread. Can't do the onions, they don't like me.
