He was supposed to be a she,( hence his name, Lacey.) He's a sweet boy too, otherwise he would not still be living here almost 3 years after that first pic was taken. I remember all too well posting pics of him on BYC only to get the news that my SLW pullet with all that white was what I didn't think I wanted... a COCKEREL.

But, by that time he had captured our hearts... and the neighbors have never complained about his crowing.
