Blue Double Laced Barnevelders - Does anyone have birds or pictures?

I have a BDLB hen that I got from Just Struttin Farm in Novato, CA. Deann, the owner, doesnt ship birds (or even eggs so far as I know) so you'd have to be local or have someone local pick up and ship the animals for you. She also only does them in the spring and this past spring only had the one. And now she's MINE!! Katie has pretty lacing and decent conformation, but I don't think she is laying much if at all which is very disappointing as I was looking forward to those dark brown eggs.

Cuti, I know what you mean by the slow feathering, the Polish that I have, and are a week younger, are nearly fully feathered.

Taking pictures of chickens is not so easy.

Anyway, this is Boo, my cockerel. I may need to sell him soon. I live in Blacksburg, VA, so if anyone nearby wants a rooster, I'll give you a good deal, or I'd be willing to trade for a black pullet (any breed). He's about 2 months old now.

The Polish that's in this picture I'm pretty sure is a cockerel, too. I may to find a home for him, too.

I'm looking for a buff/splash or possibly a blue Barnevelder rooster. Or both. Two roosters would be good. I live in Colorado. Anyone out this way?

Or someone who would ship chicks would be helpful to know about, too. Thanks!

I live in Star Valley, WY. Its below Jackson. I have 4 pullets and 4 roos. The girls are sooooo close to laying its driving me insane. I have Blue roos and black and blue pullets. I had a beautiful splash roo that died this winter when it was -30. we will keep in touch. I can ship eggs when weather gets better.
