Not to make you feel bad Bob, but I took one of kathyinmo's New Hamps I got a while back to the Ventura CA show this weekend and beat up some very nice RIR's with one of these New Hamp Reds. One of the two pullets I entered was Champion American. Will post pics later. This is the first Champ American (Class Champion) I have seen a New Hampshire win in many, many years.

Good job Kathy!

Sounds like an awesome weekend all around. Congrats to Chris and Kathy and Walt!

Even the Giants won the series! So the Go Orange comment is especially appropriate.

I can hardly wait to hear these results...... and see all the pictures!
I'll get pictures next weekend at the Nebraska show.

Anyone else have show results and pictures?

Had a pretty good day at the Yankee Fall Classic a couple weeks back. Champion Continental on a Golden Campine cockerel [his 3rd trip to Champion Row]. Also Reserve Champion Waterfowl on a Cayuga young female. Lost to a beautiful Sebastopol. In addition, BB RI Red large fowl, BB Rosecomb Bantam, BV Brown Red OEGB & BV & Best other than Black or WHite Wyandotte Bantam on a Partridge pullet.
Nothing to compare with the New Hampshire win. I couldn't tell you the last time I saw one of them on Champion Row.

I went out and turned all my RI Reds loose and sent a email to the owls, hawks and the foxes. I am going Orange and going to get me some of them German New Hampsire Reds. They are the breed of the future.

So all of you who want the hotest breed out there go Big Orange.

What about Mr. Silkier. Do I get rid of him to???????????????????

Hey! I'm still up partying here (it's 2 a.m here now) after driving 1000 miles round trip and showing 44 birds. I'll be up at 5 and thinking about those poor RIR owners that had to go home  with no hardware cuz a 7 month old NH cleaned their clock.   ahahahaha.

Off to jog 5 miles before I retire for the night. Back with pictures when you guys finally wake up. Roost pole....hah! More like the pole dance for this old timer. these young uns don't know how to enjoy a poultry show the old fashioned way.

Walt
Love it. Just love it. LOL!

Bob don't do it. Get out the shine and then get a good nights sleep.

My grandson told me he really liked orange chickens tonight. He is 5 and now I am having chest pains.

Dream red old buddy. That is what I am going to do.

Good luck with the birds
Charlie
