I hope someone posts pics as soon as they can! I wanted to go to see but would have been too tempted to purchase some modern game bantams, so I opted to try and sell off the remaining chicks I have at Westford, and that was a bust! I do enjoy seeing all the great varieties of birds, even caged birds availabled at this swap. The canaries for 20 bucks a piece were a steal! Wish I had gotten one for my studio and probably would have if I had sold something to balance the low budget I am on right now. Does anyone know if canaries and diamond doves can share a flight cage??
Thanks Gyps for sexing that rabbit, I just dont understand why they are so vicious to each other when put together. She shook him like a dog shakes a bone, the poor little thing! How the heck can they even manage to do the "deed" when they fight like that!

I have never been a fan of bonding rabbits, or 2 rabbtis living together for extended periods of time just for the reasons you have mentioned.
one gets hormonal and thats all it will take her to kill or severely injure the other one.

some one needs to tell that guy to stop selling rabbits under 8 weeks old.
your baby is no older than 5 to 6 weeks old, 2 weeks make a huge difference with rabbits something a lot of people just dont understand. be sure to give him hay to help scrub out all the feed he isnt used to processing on his own and a little rolled oatmeal to help put on muscle.( just a pinch for his size)
