A dumb question I'm sure, but what is GFF?We have Gold Partridg and Blue Columbian both from GFF we love them
Mission accomplished! They are stunning birds! At 10 weeks, mine were as big as my common chickens (RIR, BR, etc). I've been away for a couple of weeks and I'm told that they are even bigger now. That is part of the reason that I bought Brahmas, I wanted large, beautiful birds!
Gottcha, thanks.Other than the hocks.
Thanks! From the inside out@big medicine Can you point out what the problem with the hocks are? I know that I've been questioning whether my cockerel has vulture hocks or not and would like to know what you see that indicates a hock problem. I don't think that mine has enough feathering in to tell yet.
@Chickenhill do you do anything special to the feathers? They are so shiny!
Not sure that you would really call it in business as, we are happy if some of the feed bill for the year is covered. I have had chickens off and on for 25 years and been breeding seriously for 5 of it. We sell up to 10-20 chicks of each line per month during hatching season and grow out 50-100 of each line for ourselves. We keep 3-6 females and 1-2 males per line and sell/cull the rest. My passion is Partridge plumage and my harmony is found in the fancy. Pretty much the same as other chickie addictsHow long have you been in business Chickenhill?
