You can take grass from your yard rinse it then give it to them to eat and or bath in heres a vid of mine..they do love to bath if the weather is nice and usually like to bath in grass

I did not know this. My keets are afraid of everything new. Cool.

Hello! I'm Mila. I just got two budgies a little over a month ago actually! I'm not positive what their genders are yet. I know you find it by looking at their ceres but I know they're different when they're younger too. My black/white/grey-glue pied is named Teah (pronounced Tay-Uh) and my lutino is named Ray. If anyone could tell me their genders that'd be great haha.
Teah's is pink but they're also about two months old.
Ray's is purplish white but they're also about two months old.

I think you pied is a male and the yellow is a female. I think.

Your recessive pied is a male his cere will never turn blue your ino is a hen

Hi! Dead thread I'm reviving! I got a thought to be male parakeet 3 years ago! My sister tried her hand at parakeets, and all of them passed on...I have a thread going, and I want to get another parakeet for breeding, but I think my boy might actually be a girl? Are to boys ok to be in the same cage?

Yes. Boys get along. Budgies live in large flocks in the wild. The more the merrier.

That's an average price. I have gotten them from pet shops with no problems.

I have 3 budgies! Got them February this year, they were just a few weeks old, momma had just turned them loose, so they are 9-10 months old. I have one female and two males. I believe they are common colors, a green, a light blue (the female) and a darker blue, but I would like to know the name of the colors, if someone would tell me.
