They're only 2 1/2 weeks old so still too young to tell...I know, I know! But, just take a glance. :) We have 9 so chances are one or two could be a roo?! A couple of them act different from the others. One is super curious and generally more friendly and lets me pick it up easily. Another has big ole feet, hangs out by itself, occasionally acts "superior" and lays down different than the others. Those two are my suspected roos! Guess we'll wait and see!

The two you think are cockerels show no physical signs of it, but they wouldn't this early. I wouldn't place too much stock on behavior or personality at that age, either. Orpingtons are slow developers-- there have been birds shown in here that looked like pullets until they were more than 10 months old and then suddenly didn't, so you might have a long wait.

Haha! Looks like I better start to learn some patience!! The good news is we live outside of the city so a Roo would be allowed.
