Bumble in Pekin or just muddy?

Here is the antibiotic thread.....

I soaked her for at least 20 minutes. She was such a good girl. It’s been cold and rainy here so she enjoyed the warm water. I didn’t take a picture of the bottoms of her feet because they look pretty good. Here is her toe after the soak but before the iodine. But it looked the same anyhow.

I can’t tell if that different colored spot is where the break in the skin first started, or if the swelling stretched it out. It almost has a bruise look under the skin but you can’t tell in the pictures. Annnd...... I remembered the antibiotics AFTER I let her back outside.:th

One Momma, many critters, and many kiddos=scatter brain.

Casportpony what do you think about trying cephalexin tomorrow? Ravyn?

And Marshmallow looking to see if I’m going to give her mealworms.

From your choices, I would lean to cephalexin as well... but verify that with Kathy first...

Kinda hard to see in the pics, but the spot I circled almost looks like a scab or maybe a partially healed wound? Could just be a thin spot from the swelling though, but might make a good spot to work on to get the infection out if you can't find a for certain scab/entrance area of the infection...

Me too Mrs Lydia but they assured me that he was not in any pain at all and his lungs were clear but I do notice him holding upon of his feet a lot and hes turning one of his feet inward when he walks which is brand new he’s never done that.Hes itching more then usual so I’m trying to look for mites or lice and he still has this on going bacterial infection where his poop is black and runny and smells like death or it’s white and clear but I told the doc to call me because why wouldn’t he give him more antibiotics? He said he doesn’t want to stress him out because to hard to give him the medicine but not so are that I would rather him suffer right?!
Do you give Aflac probiotics?

Where is Aflac? is he in hospital or at home?

If he can't find the hole how does he know it's a tear in his Trachea?

That’s a great question?!I assume because it’s an air bubble and where it’s located then he took an X-ray and told me there’s bothing he could do he’s home now but he has lice what do I do lemon juice meone said I’m going to get the papers out now from vet but I have to help Aflac he doesn’t like these mites ??

Yes she gets flustered when I get close for pictures then starts moving so the pictures aren’t great. But yes that’s exactly what it looks like to me. @casportpony what do you think for dosages?
