Bumblefoot?

I haven't but sure wouldn't hurt to try it you'd just have to keep the foot covered while using it I'd think or they'd walk the stuff off pretty quick.

I agree. I think if my girls ever have bumblefoot, I'm going to try it.

We're doing better, I've done surgery on a couple of the ducks, still got a few left to do. Luckily the soaking and iodine has really helped and most of the bumblefoot has gotten much less severe and smaller on the ducks

I have a question, you know when you get all the infection out and a new healthy scab forms, do i leave that scab alone and i can be done treating the duck or do i have to take that scab off?

I recommend to keep doing soaks, with breaks, and keeping it in clean waraps with Neosporin on it until the the skin under the scab heals up... as it heals, soak and remove the loose edges of the scab bit by bit...

If left with the scab, it is easy for mud to stick on it and cause it to reoccur...
