Bumblefoot?

Pics
I know you have a lot on your plate right now, but once you remove the rock try using leveling sand (like what you use for paver brick patois) I use it for my ducks and it works great -it's almost like kitty litter when scooping up poop and it's great for their feet. Good luck and I wish you the best, we are here you for any questions!!!

Thanks Will it wash away when it rains? My run isn't covered

I would think no, as long as you have a good solid base of dirt. How big is your run? Post some pictures when you get time so we can see what your working with.

I'm not home right now but when i get back I'll post some. When i dump the ducks pools will it wash away? should i put something around the pools?

It's 35ft by 18ft. As you can see, our dirt sucks lol, we just have hard ground and lots of rocks

Ahh....I see what you mean about dumping the water out of the pools with sand down. Your run is really big....I spent about $150 on leveling sand for a 10x10ft run. If you can get as much rock up as possible, that will help both your chickens and ducks feets. I would suggest to put leaves in your run but from background in the pics I see lots of trees but no leaves on them, I guess that point is moot. Maybe straw might be a better option.
