Crossing the Road
A couple days ago upon checking my duck's foot, I saw a very small slight bump on the underside of her toe, looking a little red. I checked again and it hasn't gone, or gotten any larger, but is still red which concerns me. I had a good feel and it doesn't feel hot, it's quite hard, feels very small. No limping or anything and she doesn't seem bothered by me touching her foot. Not too sure what's going on, first thought was the very start of bumblefoot, could definitely be a possibility since she is a larger breed, but based on how it looks I'm perhaps more suspicious that it's an injury. They aren't ever on hard ground, just dirt or bedding.
I was thinking I might give it a warm soak in some epsom salts this evening and I'll try and get a photo, but I'm just wondering if it could be anything else and if there's anything else I could be doing?
