We do not have animal control & I had been trying to find him a new home with no success-I called & networked all across the country but my country has a massive feral cat problem & no one would take him. I did not "keep him around", he was dumped here totally feral & I was slowly taming him. I was debating taking him in because once I take an animal, I look after them properly & take the bad with the good. When I decided to keep him, before anything happened with the dog, I assumed all responsibility for him & made peace with my hair issues. If I had decided not to keep him, then I would have had the vet just put him down. Now he is inside & will not be going outside again so he safe from all dogs & the chicken is caged so he cant hurt her. She will probably bite him if he comes close anyway, she took a chunk out of me yesterday. My dog is also crated when I'm not home so everyone will be fine.
