I see that I missed some good eats this weekend.
1st day of school and #1 Granddaughter is out the door to wait for the bus at the end of our drive.
#2 is getting dressed and #3 is in shower, let the fun continue!

I think some of you guys have sheep. My hubby mentioned maybe looking for some to add to our farm.

Good idea? What kind? How expensive are they to buy and to keep? Tell me the lowdown before I do too much research.

Well, I know I have sheep.... My sheep are easy, hay and shelter from the heavy snows. They were a good deal price wise so I can't say much as to the real cost that way. Decide what you want them for and then get a breed that is recommended for beginners and go for it. Mine were easy lambers for first timers, so no issues there once they figured out that the lambs were their responsibility. I have CVMs but find someone that raises sheep in your neck of the woods and get their regional priceless knowledge.

I bet it would be cheaper to rent or donate your fields to someone who would like a grazing space for a bit.
A neighbor and I went out for that very nice ride and ponied Woody along. That horse is not bothered by trucks, dogs, logs or boats or anything. Heard elk bugling but didn't get to see them. Next time we will show those TX horses a walkway over a stream and get them used to that. Somehow, I think these two will be fine.....unlike the other two horses from TX.. LOL!

Well, I did make it thru Monday Morning, #1 GD's bus did not pick her up. Dropping her off made us a bit late for the other 2. I ended up in the middle of the 1st day gotta walk little Billy to class silliness.
Hope that today is alot more calm and collected.
Have a Good Tuesday Everybody.
Coffee is on and I always leave a pot setting out without the heater turned on so it don't get too over cooked, just nuke it up in the microwave when you want a hot cuppa.
