BYC Café

All I can say DD is that you have your priorities so right. I just wish I was as brave. DH loves frozen fruit yogurt which I make all year round, but then he eats anything and everything lol

and now he is sick with the lurge, I hate it when guys get sick they are impossible to deal with, he is like a fallen oak tree - roll on Summer

Any time is a good time for ice cream. You can always layer on more clothes and sit in front of the furnace vent or fireplace! Criminy, I wish I could find one of those ice cream coffees whoop whoop described

Why is that? Fortunately when my husband gets sick, it only last a few days.

we make a great ice crem coffee here in ZA, its base is expresso with any type of alcohol, ie whiskey, brandy, Tia Maria etc them fill  up with whipped vanilla ice cream and topped with toasted pecans, or almonds or any nuts - then stick and long piece of dark chocolate which has been tempered, plus a straw really good.  Not that I am eating ice cream at the mo too cold here...

Do you have ice cream birthday cakes?  did it for my son years ago and went all over the house but they were little lol

Ice cream coffee sounds too good to be true.

No ice cream cakes for birthdays. Too expensive and usually don't come in the flavors I would like. Small family and they don't seem to do birthdays well, my brother can't share in the goodies, so they are usually forgone.

One of my senior bus friends(?) said she wasn't going to make me a cake (July birthday) because it was too hot to put the oven on. I agree. She also doesn't have air conditioning or use a fan. Her house chickens and dog suffer plenty .
