With all the interest in Ice cream - we should have an "Ice Cream Café," I'm obviously over qualified for a thread starter but, would agree to popping in and out as an advisor.

I'll be at your Ice Cream Café every day, along with my new best friend, Caramel Coast Getaway. Or maybe Chocolate Bear Claw.

The ice cream I miss the most....

More-eastern Canada has a chocolate/ice cream chain called Laura Secord.

They have a French and frosted mint that's basically mint ice cream with fudgey ripples. I have yet to find its equal.

we make a great ice crem coffee here in ZA, its base is expresso with any type of alcohol, ie whiskey, brandy, Tia Maria etc them fill up with whipped vanilla ice cream and topped with toasted pecans, or almonds or any nuts - then stick and long piece of dark chocolate which has been tempered, plus a straw really good. Not that I am eating ice cream at the mo too cold here...

Do you have ice cream birthday cakes? did it for my son years ago and went all over the house but they were little lol

whoop whoop, I do some of my best ice cream binging in winter - a great time to eat it. No melting or dripping all over clothes etc. besides when you are stuck in the house
what else can you do? I also like to stand outside the store eating an ice cream cone while in full winter regalia. Adults are shocked but, their kids start demanding ice cream. OOPS!!
