The cat scratch tower is a hit! They spend more time there than anywhere else now! Of course, it is close to the wood stove... which they adore!

Ha ha Spider juice. My very young nieces heard a weather report (45 years ago) and came running saying "A Tormato is coming." Thankfully it didn't but, still laugh about that.

Oh, yeah, definitely can do without the tormatoes, though we've had a little bit of just about everything else in the last couple of days. Two nights ago, the forecast low was about 40; it actually got into the low 30's. Yesterday's high was 71. Shortly after sunset, the temperature was in the mid 60's. It then rose overnight to near 70 just before dawn. It was windy overnight, too, and we have a few showers blowing through this a.m. The wind has dropped, now, and the rain should be out of here soon, and the temperature (which is again in the mid 60's) is supposed to slowly fall all day, with an overnight low back in the mid 30's. What's the expression - "Don't like the weather? Just wait a couple of hours; it'll change."

But hey - the coffee and the company are always good here!

Kind of makes it hard to figure out what to wear, doesn't it BL? Guess layers are the way to go!
