Hello everyone!
Did I miss much? Not to to much new here, we're getting a new couch delivered tomorrow, some family's coming up, and I'm getting a new hen tomorrow or Friday. I'm not sure what breed she is, and neither are her current owners. She looks like she may be a Buff Laced Wyandotte though,

Hi all,

A super quick one from me this evening, and my apologies for not doing personal comments - it's been a big day and I'm a tad exhausted.

Anyway, I just wanted to send you a quick IVF update.

Three follicles were collected yesterday, and each of them contained a egg, but it was deemed that they were all too immature and not ready to be fertilised. The clinic said on the rare occasion the eggs will mature throughout the day, so hubby and I were sent away to have some lunch and wait it out.

An hour later, we were called back to the clinic ASAP - one of the eggs had matured. Hubby underwent his surgical procedure to obtain sperm and we were told they would attempt to fertilise the egg and let us know how it goes.

This morning I got a call to say the egg successfully fertilised, as was a second one which matured later on in the day! I am due for implantation tomorrow, as long as one of the eggs divides as it should overnight.

So tomorrow is a big day, and I'm excited and scared and a little hopeful. I can't help but think what I do tomorrow comes at a risk of me getting pregnant!

I think when I only get to see him on holidays it will feel like a thousand years again.
It is all relative I suppose.
