It's not something I celebrate - the thought of dirt, stickers, scratchy weeds and sunburn just don't sound that appealing.

Trying to even out tan lines next to a pool with a cold drink - maybe. Well in my youth at least.

Charbucks is way to expensive, I would rather spend my money on fun things, like chickens

YES! It's funny, there are many things other people like (like shoes, purses, etc -- often joke with DH he should be glad I'm not a "real girl") that I just do not feel any desire to spend money on, but put me in a farm store, tack shop or chicken swap and I'll spend away!

I hate coffee lol but I do like tea, though I rarely drink it. More a fan of coke and also iced tea

I'd agree with you - but replace coke with Pepsi. The tea can be hot or cold, but must be sweet.

Good morning and everyone. As a mothers day gift to me, my parents are taking thing one and two to see an airshow (it is one of my fathers favorite pastimes) giving me a whole day free of kids to actually get them things done. I plan to clean out the garage. I know it is insane to be thrilled to clean the garage. But it will be so nice to no longer have that filthy place hanging over me.

What a wonderful gift! I think it sounds like a fine plan to do something like clean out the garage - just being able to do something you want to have done without having others around to distract you, need you can be a very enjoyable way to spend a day "off".

Morning! Rain and snow showers here for a few days and I bet it is all heading east...... Still waiting on the 2 ewes. We put the spooky ewe in the other quanshut last evening, so I can just let her be, unless I need to help. The twins seem to be doing great. They are filling out and I am going to dock tails and turn them out today, hopefully, depends on just how nasty the weather gets. I am going to build a couple of lamb shelters out of old hay bales and top them with a board to keep the snow off.
After 2 days of bonding, they should be good to go.
Popsicle Cat is once again a permanent fixture on the stoop. He is kinda pesky....., oh well, maybe he will go away again so that I can miss him.

So glad they are doing so well -- good luck with the remaining ewes.

I like both Pepsi and Coke! Lol and i find sweet tea a little weird sometimes but i think I've only had the canned Arizona one and McDonald's and thos like arent sweet enough ha cause i had it in Florida once and it was so delicious. So i think I've just been drinking the wrong kinds. Some is too sweet though but the right one is delicious.


And I'm the same way with shopping except with me it can be for pets too. Although i find most pet stores over priced so buy online now but i used to impulse buy toys for the dog and sometimes would online too lol and books, CDs, and band merch lol

This show is insane though. I think it's on Discover Channel and it's 2 random strangers, a man and a woman, meeting for the first time on the show and they go into a remote location for 21 days, it's just a regular survival show... except you are completely naked!!! Although sometimes they put their bags over their area lol (youre allowed to bring one item hidden in bags ha). No shoes even. I think it's absurd.

I've seen the previews for it - just don't get why they have to be naked, I mean, you could be "minimally clothed and afraid" and still have to do the same amount of surviving, no?
