Dreary morning here. scattered showers today, leading into severe thunderstorms, high winds, hail, and tornados for Wednesday night....three weeks in a row, now!

Good morning from Upstate NY! Sun is shining and going to be in the upper 70's!!! Oh yeah, then thunderstorms this afternoon! I hate when Mother Nature rains on my parade!!!!!!

Morning C-N-F talk about raining on a parade....were having Fiesta this week and weekend. Suppose to be scattered showers today and tonight with severe thunderstorms for Wednesday/night.
The weather peeps crack me up....just be sure to bring a umbrella and a rain coat, yeah right, what chance does an umbrella have of protecting you from hail and tornados!

Last night they were all waiting outside their old coop run door trying to get in. I was a chicken herder driving them to the pop door of the new coop. Fabio kept running back and forth around the sides of the coop trying to get back after all his girls went in. Not too sharp, that boy.
I had to manually place everyone on the roost.
Man oh man was there a LOT of poop on the poop board!! So much easier to sift it out with the kitty litter scoop and toss it in a bucket.

Morning Cafe folk! Jut checking in to let y'all know that I'm sitting here waiting to hear from the vet school. They will let me know when I can bring my Peekaboo hen in. She started overly drinking yesterday, so I brought her inside to observe. Had to give her water through the night and take it back away to keep her from leaking out the mouth when she bent over! I studied on the internet and knew to check her abdomen. Sure enough it is full of fluid! Very likely a reproductive problem. She is one of my best layers, and one of my tamest,in your pocket babies.

Meanwhile my Dominique, Sophie has been in an inside cage with lethargy and smelly diarrhea; getting electrolytes and probiotics as was recommended.
Please just keep us in your thoughts today!
