Thanks for the advice IM. Just got back from the club - soaking wet with perspiration - an hour of work was much as the two dogs I took wanted. Truck thermometer said 90 F already. I long ago decided that if temperatures that high or higher are predicted my dogs and I are not going anywhere.
Yes sir, with humidity on top of those temps it must be horrid outside.

I can't quite tell what spooked them. Maybe a hawk. Nothing can get at them when locked in the run and I hadn't gotten out to feed them and open the run door when this happened.
The difference in reactions between the hens and the pullets is interesting.

All that beautiful greenery keeps drawing my eye and I forget to watch the chickens.
