DH has a routine doctor appointment this morning. If I see many people in the building or office suite when we walk in, we are turning around and walking right back out.

A real consideration even in this rural area, but regardless of our personal ideologies or political leanings most here have weapons and know how to use them. A country boy/girl will survive. One real concern is that the abused are now in a situation where they are in constant contact with their abuser, and then there is the consideration of those dealing with addictions.

Closing the gate at work tomorrow. Like I said, we're considered an essential service, but I'm getting a lot of not necessarily essential clients. If everyone would respect the shutdown we'd all be in a lot better shape, right? I'm thinking it loud here. And I respect your opinions.
So I'll run parts to people and cross my fingers. Covid is in part of the extended family now. Too damn close. Hopefully they make full recoveries.

What kind of shop do you have? Closing for the time being would be a good idea. Perhaps someone could call with an emergency need.

Here in NJ we jumped from 4,402 confirmed cases and 62 deaths this morning to 6,876 confirmed cases an 81 deaths this evening. This is the same sort of exponential growth that NY has been seeing.

We jumped nearly 800 today, but we still only have 5 cases in our county.

Just above freezing here overnight so a frosty start this morning.
Lockdown extended here to April 11. Politicians from Spain and the Catalonian region falling out again. This which flag do you bow to crap is getting on my nerves big time.
First very local virus case here. I'm expecting quite a few more given many commute to Barcelona from here.
Usual hysterical shite in the media. Some of the most emotive reporting I've read here recently. As has often been pointed out by some of the seniors here, if you switch the Internet off and don't buy newspapers one wouldn't know there was a problem.
Hopefully someone will be up to collect the hard boiled eggs later today. Over 100 in this first batch. Many Moroccan families here are not entitled to any state assistance and eran by the day.
I'll say this much for the virus; it's showing the worst of the politicians and media and in most cases here at least, the best in people.

I have a few packets left but a lot of stuff from Italy isn't getting through atm which is understandable. I may have to change brand.........oh the horror

Another drizzly, rainy day here. DH has a tarp over the new coop and may try to do a few things under it. I'm going to take care of a few domestic chores. And now I have Queen Bee back in sick bay. Think she needs a little more TLC before she is 100%.
