Stuff like that makes me very nervous. Are they casing the place? If I hadn't been home, would I have come back to a ransacked house?

I hate that too - I think being a bit remote it is disconcerting when someone shows up because there is no way you navigated your way here by accident!
Weirdly a guy showed up yesterday with a tank to pump Port-a-Potties (I don't have one). I think his GPS just really messed with him!

I did it! Made it to the top of the hill that starts the cabin trail. I'm not going to go any further than this, I'm just sitting on a boulder, letting the dogs run around up here before we head back down.

Aart, if your house is paid off, make sure your deed has not been "taken" by someone and they have listed it for sale.
