At the moment we've still had cold here so my potato's are sprouting in the 5 gallon bucket towers and I have tomato and pepper seeds started sprouting and a few herbs.. Husband has been working on tilling. We want a big garden this year to try to grow as much of our own produce as we can.
Sounds nice.

Joining in on the gardening. It is one of my favorite hobbies. Still lack 2 rows planting. But all seems to be doing good.

Cucumbers, squash, cauliflower, yellow & purple onions, sweet snap peas, celebrity tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, okra, green beans, pinto beans, jalepeno peppers, bell peppers, egg plant, potatoes, sweet potatoes, asparagus, basil, cilatro, watermelon & cantalope.
Nice!

There are so many types of strawberries it is amazing. Hopefully they will do great for you.

Indeed it is. Yours too.

Sounds like Alpine strawberry . They do not produce runners .
Hmmm, maybe. They split at the crown right?

Looks great Wendy! Do you freeze your cantalope to use all year?

I have not ever tried cantalope. This will be my first time. Planted a pkg of seeds and have 3 up. Going to plant another pkg if more do not come up in next couple of days. Had brother push up pile of sand into large mound. As soon as it dries out, going to rake and form mound for planting. Hope to have in ground in next couple weeks with temporary fence.

I would assume you can freeze them since you can buy them in store frozen. Hope I get enough to have to consider my options.
:)

Wendy I hope you get enough of all you planted to store them all up.

I froze mine in a light syrup and they were delish even a year later just like the day I froze them.
