Would that setup work for blackberries?    This is the second year it has invaded the iris bed.  If I cannot eradicate it, I might as well enjoy it.

Most likely it would. I have some wild blackberries I've trellised up. Mine are pretty much setup the same way a grape would be set up only the trellis is not as big or strong as a grape trelis. Mine is three six foot pieces of rebar stuck about 2 feet deep and 3 feet apart with wire strung about a foot of the ground then a foot and a half or so and the top wire is about an inch short of the top of the rebar. (With a blue ribon strung diagonally across cause the dogs couldn't see it and one of them ended up bending one of the original pieces of rebar (granted it was a flimsy piece to begin with) I'll get a picture of it when the rain clears.

These are lemongrass "Cuttings" I took about a week ago that I stuck in about an nice of water, the bigger ones already had some roots on them when I took them.

However the big ones did not have the offsets when I took them that you see here

Here it is

The tin is there so you can see the plants better.

This is it back in may (Opposite side)

Top - Updated pic of winter garden. Bok Choy already going to flower. Center & lower - Fava Beans starting to sprout, to be harvested early spring. Does anyone grow hardy kiwi? I have a 4' wide by 7' tall arbor that I was thinking about putting one on either side but I'm thinking it may not be big enough. Thanks!
