I said I can help in the poll.
And I can. With genetics :p
I can also pull together some resources for coding. My community has a lot of coders and my dad has a few connections. He knows people who might know what software we can use and whether or not this would be possible.

Great! I studied chicken genetics for a year, but always puzzled me. I am really thankful that you know the art :highfive:

I cannot predict every single outcome.
However, I know what is dominant and recessive in the combs as well as what comb crosses produce what.
I also know how the lacing works.
Feathered feet I am mostly fluent on. Sometimes I come across crossed birds thar should have feathered feet but don't. My usual assumption on those cases is that the parent with feathered feet was heterozygous.
I have more learning to do in certain color crosses, especially if one bird that shows one color variant but hides another color variant is crossed with another bird.
Sex-linkage I 100% understand.

...and are willing to share that knowledge :p
I am more than willing to share everything I know.

Hey guys. I've been following this thread since it started.
I want to give my .02 and voice my opinion that you make this harder than it has to be. You are trying to reinvent the wheel. I am a mega genetics freak; I just finished IB Biology HL 1.
I am big into ball pythons and I don't know if you chicken folks know about it, but a VERY good and detailed ball python genetic calculator already exists.
You can input male and female breeds (including parent crosses) and get the offspring results as well as probability.
They use real pictures of the animals if they have them.

Give it a go and mess around with it.
I think you'll find what you're looking for.
