You are right; the coder will need all of the breed and genetic information before they can start. That's because they have to code groups, variables, arrays, objects and ID's for each of the above before they can really get this thing going. Without the genetic info it can't really begin.

I am willing to go back through this thread and make a list of all of the BYCer's that have volunteered and what help they've offered, then when they're needed we will have a list of people we can call.

We are thinking about it. Mr. Bator knows how it's supposed to be coded at least. But he doesn't have a lot of free time. I'm waiting for a chance to even get that project started.
He doesn't know what a Xensomething is though.

I am going to try coding as well. Once you get on a start in it, it becomes a language. Some time ago I created a website from a note document opened in Mozilla Firefox

As far as the code goes, I know how the layout should be done to make this thing work. I just don't speak the language, so I don't know all the little important details.

I've already kind of figured out how to make the genetic presets for the breeds and the list of colors. I haven't yet figured out how to actually make it calculate a cross if X is dominant over Y excepting Z blah blah blah.

It will just need to work in the template HTML of a XenForo page, like my aquarium volume calculator does.

no not really yet. I'm just now compiling a list of people who have offered to help and what they can do.
