so in my less than helpful google searches, a lot of the eggs that are coming up as being pink, or possibly being pink "if you're lucky" are coinciding with breeds that have "light brown" egg colors, BUT it's not affected by the different leg colors, as far as I can tell... I mean based on what we have it isn't but who's to say what kind of crosses the people from the far reaches of the internet are getting their special pink shelled layers from. seeing as how the brown pigment is the only scientifically proven color, other than blue; I'm going with pink is just a variation on brown. I really can't seem to find anything else on it. there don't seem to be any scientific articles on it at all.

I agree, pink is a variation of light brown. Good work on your research, though

Looks like Orloffs have walnut combs, so genetically PPRR, PpRR, PPRr, or PpRr.

Some people get them out of Easter Eggers. Probably all the random genes getting shaken up does this.

I can add breeds basically until the calculator coding is finished, or the coding is handed off to someone else.

I can't wait till they grow up!! I am addicted to chickens with that appearance, which is why I have Golden Necked Belgian Bearded D'Ucckles as well
