I can't get the eye color genetics due to little study of the subject. Should I trash the eye color study? Unless others on BYC know the answers to my questions.
Post a thread seeking info then let it sit for now. We'll return to it. We need to get other things done, too.
I'm still supposed to be doing skin color  I can try to start on that tomorrow.
I don't want to start on plumage yet until we have most or all of our team available as that is best done divided since there is so much to cover.

I was coming up with very little info on earlobe color too. white has a ton of different genes not all are understood how they work or why. :/ most sites I went to said if you want to breed for it you have to just breed what you have and see what you get and eventually you'll figure it out on your own. though I did find some interesting color variations earlobe color seems to tie in to other colors. uh... I haven't looked at it recently, so I don't remember exactly. yellow earlobe color seemed to come from genetics environment and food. which makes that really hard to track. there is no mention of breeding for blue earlobes. and there was only one study on red vs. white earlobes, and white works kind of the same way as brown egg shells.

There are a few people on BYC with chickens with light green earlobes.... I would assume it's a mix of blue, white, and yellow. but aside from here there was no mention of that being a possibility.

I'm not sure when I'll be up to jumping back in. I've got a pretty busy summer. I'm usually on here to check in a few times a day though so if you guys decide to get back at it I can probably do some more too. :D

I've been doing a study on feather genetics since 2014 so I'll get back to more study today :p

I've probably been studying Kippenjungle since 2015. I don't have a complete knowledge, but know how lot of the genes work regardless. And how the genetic information from it works if I don't know.

I don't really study kips very much, I do more reading and phone calling poultry genetic scientists. We sometimes talk for 3 hrs :lau
