There are some great tutorials on you tube. Watch out its as addicting as chickens and quilting.

I have several knitting projects in mind... A shrug for me, a new scarf, and a couple of other things. But, I'm about 3/4 through crocheting a new pullover for this winter, so I'd better finish that first.

I would love that! Setting down now to try again. I am armed w a few utube videos....I hope that works better. I am completely in love with some of the fine knitted lace. My goal would be a cozy sweater nice enought to actually wear out of the house and a cozy pair of socks or two....

Let's not get ahead of myself tho...starting w a scarf.

I thought since I am an intermediate/advanced crocheter that this would be easy....yeah right!! oh well, still fun!

Ok. Attempt 2 was a failure. Trying a scarf, got the 24 stitches cast on, did about 12 rows of just knit stitches, and got cocky and tried 2 rows of perl stitches.

Game over.

My stitches got so tight they squeezed over the needles and they were impossible to work with.

So I ripped.

Made it 2 more rows, lost my rhythm and am left with big, fat, nothing.

*sigh*

Tomorrow is another day.....
