Not sure about the year badges...but I think that to search within a thread you go to SEARCH and then use the drop down menu to select THIS THREAD. Does that help?

I tried to read through all the comments, but I only got through about twelve pages out of sixty.
I didn’t think I had any comment at first. I decided to check out the new place.
I have one of each.

My only negative: the new way that the main menu displays; specifically, I really liked the lineup of categories with the ability to collapse them. Now the threads category is default showing each subcategory with no option to collapse it.

My biggest positive: looking at a person!! So I hated the way the pop-up displayed when you clicked on a person. The selections were so tiny, I felt like you needed to be the size of an ant to click them. Now common ones display, unless you click the person again. Anyway, I love that!!

I feel bad for the people who did this upgrade. The comments are a little brutal.

My biggest concern: finding people to learn from about chickens. And I can do that no matter how it looks, so I’m good!!

I did notice that it collapses the forums after I posted that. But it still defaults with it open each time. It’s not the end of the world, but I’d prefer it to default the same as the other categories.
I originally thought it didn’t collapse because I wasn’t looking up far enough at Forums. I was seeing “threads” and assumed.

Yeah, I too would prefer it to be collapsed by default but I guess maybe some people wouldn’t know how to open it? Oh well I suppose.
