Heres pics from over the years on what my budgies have tried some things they didnt care for if they dont like it they just didnt try it and my chickens would get it

Having had bonded pairs, having almost always had a flock. I refuse to ever have a single budgie, they get far too much joy from a birdie friend . I could never live up to that standard as a replacement!

What brands do you have there?

Yup. Humans will never compare to another bird! Well, I don't remember the name. It's actually only one that I've found. The pellets were red and yellow. I don't know much, but that doesn't scream quality product to me. Wait, I might just be able to find it. Been a while since I searched for parrot stuff

I have feral flocks of conures and another type of parrot here

I would love some budgies or more tiels eventually getting a bigger bird like a ‘too once I get land and can build an aviary which might be soon actually.

Yeah that makes sense. I probably shouldn’t have given up on trying to transition them over and if I’d kept them, I might have tried again at some point. But it did seem to work for them. And thankfully the stores now are feeding them fruits and veggies. But that was after I got mine. So mine weren’t fed that to get used to it unfortunately.

Personally i think one of the main hindrances in seed to pellet is people only try like one pellet. They do the research find that one pellet everyone thinks is THE pellet and then their bird thinks it's disgusting and won't eat it. Then they give up or get disheartened because if they try any other pellet someone will tell them their feeding junk to their bird.
A good pellet is one your bird eats. If they don't eat it it's useless doesn't matter the quality of the ingredients etc.

So apparently parrot peeps are finding pellet brands to give to their birds, but I can find none. To be fair, my research didn't go in depth at all
