I also had that happen with some of my Wyandotte chicks. I read that it happens when they do not get enough natural light. The feathers on mine ended up growing in normal as they molted.Thanks Deb. We have been assuming the dark one is a pullet. Yay! Her comb has not grown that we can see. I've been feeding the same chick starter I used for my other girls. Do bantams require a different type of food than large fowl? Any special requirements?
