1) How old before you can sort your Roos from your hens? Depends on the breed, campines I can usually tell at 7-10 days, silkies.......months.
2) do both sexes of chickens have little nubs on their back legs (where the roos grow spurs)? Yes, usually.

Black oil sunflower seeds (BOSS) would be good for her too and scrambled eggs.

1) Depends on the breed, but roughly 6-8 weeks - unless they are silkies, then a lot longerMore newb questions!![]()
