Hangtown Farms, Forgive me if I didn't inderstand, I am new to BYC. Do you sell the Ameraucana chicks or raise them yourself? I bought 3 chicks in Diamond Springs but they may be a mix. If you sell the pure bearded chicks please let me know. I would like one. Thank you.

Hi 8machines! Welcome. There are a lot of folks who breed chickens on this thread (not me though). Are you looking for Ameraucanas in particular? Any specific color? If you post what you are looking for, I'm sure someone can direct you to a breeder if they don't have the breed available.

Its understandable that they would make a car home, I just wish there was an easy way to prevent it! Maybe if I sprinkled dirty cat litter around they wouldn't want to be in cat territory... but I suppose that would bring up a whole new set of issues....

Ok, for some reason I can't sleep....Maybe it has to do with all the peeping in my bator or the full moon LOL. It's like they all decided to hatch at once....right when I'm trying to go to sleep

Funny, my daughter just asked if she could give the chickens last names. She had a list already......Fluffy bottoms, Ruffle Butt, etc..... I told her to go for it.

Do you keep them in the incubator all night? Seems like mine would start popping right around 10pm when I wanted to go to bed and I felt bad leaving them in there all night.
