So, I'm two days into a beautiful BBS English Orpington incubation hatch. I'm incubating 15 eggs..... just in case anyone is interested in having a baby once they've arrived. I'm in Long Beach and I'm not allowed to have more... I may have a wee little problem!! Hahahahahaaaa!

I have a broody hen ... my first ever!!! My bantam Frizzle cochin is 9 months old and only been laying for 6 weeks but she has had it!!! All that effort and nothing to show for it .... Of course she went broody 2 weeks after I rehomed my rooster.

So I am looking for some fertile eggs to put under her .... I'd love some Marans, Polish??? I am open to others.... I would love to find some close .... ANybody have some??? I am in West Los Angeles.

If your rooster bred her before you re-homed him then she might have fertile eggs still. I think the sperm lives for weeks, it might be worth a try.
