We have the same problem in dogs that the farm industry has with PETA and organization (evil people BTW). These people would rather a hen be ripped apart by racoons then be confinded to a coop/cage, yes they are that crazy!

Your going to need a lot of strong opposition that calls their state reps to keep this bill from passing.

So you are saying you would rather keep your children confined to the house 24/7 to keep them from getting hit by a car, kidnapped, etc.

That actually happened over here by me, in Chino Hills. As far as I know, that operation isn't even around anymore.​

Jim here is where you and I agree. Once all the chicken people of Ca. realize and look at this prop, they should agree also. EVERY COOP & NEST BOX will have to be increased in size. So, in a coop instead of 2 feet per bird, you will need 5. Depending on the chicken the nest box goes from milk crate size to spread the wings and not let it touch any side of the next box.

Not knowing Rebecca10782, her statement leads me to believe she is a vegetarian and an animal rights person. Also a misinformed person. She does have her rights to her opinion, which I am all for. Though I disagree with her.

What will each of us do if PETA or some other group shows up at our door and asks to see our coop. Folks THAT IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT.

My DW was a vegetarian for some time, until one day I was having prime rib. It looked so good to her I had to order another for myself.
