So you are saying you would rather keep your children confined to the house 24/7 to keep them from getting hit by a car, kidnapped, etc.

I did until my children were smart enough to make those kind of decisions on their own. If they weren't in the house, they were with people I trusted.

When my chickens are smart enough to stay off of road, then I'll let them wander where ever they want.

We have the same problem in dogs that the farm industry has with PETA and organization (evil people BTW). These people would rather a hen be ripped apart by racoons then be confinded to a coop/cage, yes they are that crazy!

Your going to need a lot of strong opposition that calls their state reps to keep this bill from passing.

I don't think people realize that everybody trying to pass prop 2, believe in animal rights. Most of us don't eat meat, eggs, milk, etc. These conditions would be no where near perfect, but it is a start. We don't believe in using animals for our gain. We would like to stop the industry all together (which I know of course will never happen.)

Rebecca I do belive my chickens are safer in their coop then they are outside in the "real world" but they are not my children. Until my chickens look both ways before crossing the street then they stay in the coop.
Have you seen a racoon reach into a chicken coop and ripe a chicken apart piece by piece. I have and it's not pretty. They are not going to be kidnapped or hit by a car and suffer a agonizing death, because they are safe. Have you seen what hogs can do to each other while establishing dominace they can and will kill each other.

If you are a veggie and I respect your desicion but you have no right to take away my right to eat meat sorry!

Maybe you sould watch the whole unedited video before you make your descion.
