Calling all APA and/or ABA breeders!

:frow

Hi! I'm an APA member and am breeding large fowl Barred Plymouth Rocks. I have a lot of work yet to do, but I'm working toward the standard. Don't really have a lot of good photos, and nothing current. I used to have a few that would come up but apparently the last forum upgrade did away with that...
The move to the new servers several years ago did a number on photos!

Post some new ones when you can. APA barred plymouth rocks are awesome!

I am a life member of the APA and a long-time member of the ABA. I also belong to the Livestock Conservancy and the Society for the Preservation of Poultry Antiquities. I have raised Crevecoeurs for over 20 years, Delawares and Nankins for about 14 years, and Sultans, Houdans, Runner ducks, and Dutch Hookbills for about 8 years. I have some other breeds, too, but not as serious about them. I still do breed to the standards, and last showed at the Tulsa State Fair in 2019.

I don't show yet.
Here are a few of my older pullets:

That's just a random pic, those aren't all of my breeders, I have breeders and layers mixed together in one pen since I'm done hatching for the year.

I do. My colors are mille fleur and porcelain.

I was there when Michelle Sepiol's porcelain d'Uccle won show champion in Bath, NY a few years ago. This was absolutely the most beautiful porcelain d'Uccle I have ever seen!

I believe I’ve seen photos of that bird!! And you are right, she almost didn’t look like a real chicken, absolutely beautiful. I raise porcelain and Mille Fleur, but I breed blue d’Uccles originally from Michelle sepiols line, she got me hooked on them:love
Since you were at the show in bath NY, can I assume you live on the east coast as well? :)
