I'm back in the game!
I put 8 new eggs in a bator on Friday night.
I hope they hatch by the end of February and no power outages happen again by then.

Love all the hatched chicks! So jealous!
Can't wait to candle my eggs.

I'm almost a week into my current hatch. Did the "sniff test" this morning and everything was good (or my nose is plugged). Waiting for my Cool-Lite candler to come in the mail so I can attempt to candle these BCM eggs........

I'm on Day 17- just did the sniff test too and everything smells good! Weighed the eggs again, and we seem to be on target Also tried candling, but just saw dark blobs. Maybe on Wed we will see beaks in the air space?

hhhmmm just ran into a problem. Just spot checked my eggs, the bottom of the incubator is about 98 and the top is 100.5. The fan sounds like its sending morse code ...---... sounds like my warrenty is up.

hope they pull through....15 days

OMGosh OMGosh I am SO excited... I candled my Ameraucana eggs and it looks like there are only 2 clears out of 15!!!!

I can only see dark blobs now. Tomorrow eve is Lockdown.... Finally I'll be able to actually add water and watch my humidity rise.

Im candeling tonight because I just cannot keep my stacked eggs in one spot keeps rolling around no matter how good I place them and wedge them!---Hoping to have enough clears to move the rest in and I have 4 cracked ones in there Im putting wax on tonight!
